Generally speaking, problems arising from working with elevated vibrations are usually detected at a later stage or misinterpreted. Often used protective systems (monitoring systems) cannot accurately interpret the measured signal and therefore do not provide the system protection as they should.
Lack of accurate information and/or their misinterpretation can cause many problems in the operation of some machine but also in the entire production process, which can lead to high costs. We offer our customers predictive machine maintenance services, which means that we measure vibrations and analyze the results in order to obtain the actual condition of the observed machine and its trend.
In this way, instead of statistical estimates of the life service or frequency of failures, we can get a complete picture of the current situation as well as the possibility of planning an overhaul.

Periodic and continuous monitoring of machines

The purpose of monitoring the operation of machines is to identify changes or irregularities while they running so we can determine and make diagnoses of the type of failure or damage.

Production processes in the plant often cannot take place due to improper operation of rotary machines.Rotor imbalance (imbalance) is one of the common causes of increased vibration in rotating machines. Large centrifugal forces that occur as a result of unevenly distributed mass, load the entire structure of the machine, and cause bearing damage. Improper dynamic characteristics of the rotor and uneven mass, cause a constant and high vibrational amplitude at rotation frequency and amplitude increases exponentially with higher rotational speed.
Rotor imbalance can occur for several reasons: holes in the casting, geometric asymmetries, eccentricity or misalignement, corrosion, improper service and maintenance, thermal expansion …With the help of high level class portable equipment for measuring and analyzing vibration phenomena on site and without disassembly, we can measure total vibration amplitudes but also diagnose the cause of imbalance by spectral analysis. After balancing the rotor in own bearings, we reduce vibration amplitudes, ensure smoother operation of the machine, reduce shutdowns, as well as the total cost of repairing the problem.
